Technical Sales Manager-Textile (VN)/ V68R48X6
Job Description:
Location: Ho Chi Minh City — Central
About the Company
Our client is the Vietnam subsidiary of a Germany-headquartered specialty-chemicals group with more than 100 years of history and a global network of production sites, laboratories and sales offices. In Vietnam it supplies dyeing and finishing auxiliaries and functional finishes to textile mills, most of them foreign-invested. The Vietnam team is small, so this role carries real ownership of its market.
The Role
Technical solution seller for our client's textile auxiliaries and finishing solutions into Vietnam's dyeing and finishing mills. You open new accounts through lab evaluations and mill trials, convert trials into approved products and repeat orders, then grow those accounts over time.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and expand business with textile customers across Vietnam, both Vietnamese-owned and foreign-invested mills.
- Identify new investors, textile groups, processing mills and brand-linked projects with cross-selling potential.
- Run the full cycle, from lab evaluation and mill trial to industrial scale-up, product approval and repeat orders.
- Provide technical support, product recommendations and application guidance, working with the company's technical centres and laboratories.
- Deliver sales, margin and growth targets; support pricing, credit control and collection of receivables.
- Keep the sales pipeline, monthly forecasts, visit reports and CRM records accurate and current.
- Build long-term relationships with key decision-makers through technical presentations, seminars and commercial proposals.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Textile Chemistry, Textile Engineering or Chemistry.
- 5+ years in technical sales or technical service in textile chemicals or auxiliaries, mostly customer-facing.
- Hands-on wet-processing knowledge: pretreatment, dyeing, finishing, functional finishes.
- Proven record of converting mill trials into product approvals and orders.
- Existing relationships with dye-houses in Vietnam, especially foreign-invested mills.
- Native proficiency in Vietnamese; working English; Mandarin or Korean is a strong plus.
- Willing to travel within Vietnam.
