Job Description:

Location: Ho Chi Minh City — Central

About the Company

Our client is the Vietnam subsidiary of a Germany-headquartered specialty-chemicals group with more than 100 years of history and a global network of production sites, laboratories and sales offices. In Vietnam it supplies dyeing and finishing auxiliaries and functional finishes to textile mills, most of them foreign-invested. The Vietnam team is small, so this role carries real ownership of its market.

The Role

Technical solution seller for our client's textile auxiliaries and finishing solutions into Korean-owned garment, textile and dyeing mills in Vietnam and their Korea-linked supply chains. You are the main point of contact for all Korean clients: you manage and grow existing accounts and open new ones, from lab evaluation and mill trial through to product approval and repeat orders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and grow the existing Korean client accounts as their main point of contact.
  • Develop new business with Korean textile groups, new investors and processing mills in Vietnam and Korea-linked supply chains.
  • Diagnose the problems mills struggle with (shade, hand-feel, brand compliance, cost) and recommend the right chemistry.
  • Run laboratory evaluations, customer and mill trials and industrial scale-up through to product approval and bulk orders, working with the company's technical centres and laboratories.
  • Deliver sales, margin and growth targets; support pricing, credit control and collection of receivables.
  • Keep the sales pipeline, monthly forecasts, visit reports and CRM records accurate and current.
  • Deliver technical presentations, seminars and commercial proposals, and build long-term relationships with key decision-makers.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Textile Chemistry, Textile Engineering or a related field.
  • 5+ years in technical sales, technical service or business development in textile chemicals, dyeing/finishing or auxiliaries.
  • Hands-on wet-processing knowledge: pretreatment, dyeing, finishing, functional finishes.
  • Proven account management experience, with an active network across Korean-owned mills and the drive to develop the market.
  • Native proficiency in Korean; working English; Vietnamese is a plus.
  • Based in Vietnam or willing to relocate; comfortable with regular travel within Vietnam and to Korea.
  • Eligible for a Vietnam work permit (relevant degree and experience); the employer manages the application.
